Tommy Ouellet is a member of the Active and Strategic Fixed Income team where he is responsible for the creation of various mathematical models, simulation techniques and market analyses used as part of the portfolio management process for the team’s clients. He also provides quantitative and actuarial support in a practical asset/liability portfolio management context for numerous sophisticated clients such as pension plans, insurance companies and foundations.

Mr. Ouellet has nine years of investment industry experience and has been with the firm since 2015. Earlier in his career, he also worked for a pension consulting firm, where he advised numerous plan sponsors about the financing and risk management of their pension plans.

In 2009, Mr. Ouellet obtained his Bachelor of Actuarial Science (B.Sc.) from Université Laval. He became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) later that year and earned the FCIA (Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries) designation in 2012. He was awarded his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials by the CFA Institute in 2013. In 2017, Tommy Ouellet obtained a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) from the CQF Institute.
