Nicholas Smart is a member of the Canadian Equity Team and assists in managing Canadian Equity ESG, Ethical and Fossil Fuel Free mandates. He is also involved in the advancement of Responsible Investing and ESG Integration at Fiera Capital. He joined Fiera Capital in 2016 and has nine years of industry experience. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, he worked on Canadian Equity and Global Small Cap mandates at Empire Life Investments.

Nicholas graduated from Carleton University with Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts degrees and is a CFA Charterholder.
